Kindergarten News: We finished up the year with a health unit called “Play Everyday" where we learned how playing makes strong muscles and bones. To be healthy a child should play–HARD!--every day. We put our heads together and came up with a list of ways to play this summer. Please refer your child to this list if they ever feel bored, with nothing to do! Climb a tree Slide on a slip-n-slide Ride a horse Jump on a trampoline Play in the sprinkler Swim in a pool Have a water gun fight Have a water balloon fight Jump rope Play on a playground Play in the creek Ride your bike Ride a scooter Jump on your bed Take your dog for a walk Feed horses and cows Climb up on the roof Run around the house and chase your dog Dig for buried treasure Make a pretend stew with your garden food Pull weeds Build a secret hideout Do push ups and lift weights Camp in your field Go on a picnic Go to your friend’s house Visit your cousins Have a sleepover Catch frogs and grasshoppers Play freeze dance Play hide-n-go-seek Play the floor is lava Play flashlight tag Have a birthday party for your cat Go bowling Take a bath with your dog Wash the car Plant some flowers Have a pillow fight Have a tea party Make a craft Read books with a flashlight Hunt for mushrooms and huckleberries Play P.E.
