Cove's Koza, the top qualifer in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle, is bidding to become the fourth girl in state history to win eight individual state titles. The Idaho commit is shooting for her fourth title in the 200 freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle. She won the 500 freestyle as a freshman. … Juniors Sam Borus of Riverdale and Avery Bengtson of Cottage Grove – who won 2024 titles in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, respectively – are looking to reclaim their titles after coming up short last year. … Newport, the 2024 champion, has the No. 1 qualifying time in two relays.

Old Oregon League District Basketball tournament in Baker City

REMINDER Exclusion date is February 25th please have your students' immunizations caught up. A letter was sent out from the school district along with the county's CHD letting you know which immunizations are needed. If you did not receive a letter your child is caught up. EOU's Early College Initiatives invites 9th-12th graders to this year's Summer Institutes. Check out the flyer for details. Space is limited, so please encourage interested students to apply as soon as applications open February 15, 2026.

Cove Robotics had a great weekend competing in the League Championships hosted at Pendleton High School. We were represented by five great teams. The winning team from this tournament was made up of Isaac Davis and Liam VanAsdale. The other team that qualified for state was comprised of Hunter Kieth and Emma Sattem. Both teams will move on to the State Championships at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, the weekend of February 28. All teams did very well. They represented Cove well. We would like to thank all of our supporters.
