Cove’s own Sophia Bruce (formerly Sophia Pettit) is taking on an exciting new athletic challenge! Sophia holds several Cove High School track records, including the 100-meter, 200-meter, long jump, and triple jump.
Now, she’s taking her athletic talents to the ice as she joins Team USA in the sport of skeleton!

Come to the Cove Ascension School to cheer on your CU Jr. High XC Team and bring your kids
to run the fun run.
Jr. High Girls 10:00 AM
Jr. High Boys 10:30 AM
Little Kids ½ Mile Fun Run 10:50 AM (up to 1st grade)
Big Kids 1 Mile Fun Run 11:20 AM ( 2nd grade to 8th)
Information: Register at the event by filling out a liability release form. The kids will be visible
almost the entire race, so it is a great spectator event.

Second grade artists have been learning about the elements of art. So far we have studied line, shape, and color. Today artists combined all three elements to create these super cute bookmarks. We hope they make you as happy as they made us!⭐️

Cove high school volleyball team does a college visit to the University of Portland prior to their games tonight at Southwest Christian.
Seniors & Parents/Guardians: Join us for FAFSA & College Prep Night on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the High School Math Room!
We’ll provide helpful information about FAFSA, college preparation, and financial aid. Even if you’re not planning to attend college, please join us! We’ll also cover what to expect during senior year, including important dates and deadlines, graduation information, and parent-coordinated activities.
