On Veterans Day, November 11th, the Cove FBLA will be hosting the first ever Stars and Stripes Dodgeball tournament to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project of Oregon. If you like dodgeball, or if you want to support our Veterans, plan on participating and/or attending this fun-filled event. Start creating your teams today. Entry forms can be picked up in Mrs. McGilvray’s room or you can sign up on the web at: https://covehighschoolfbla.aidaform.com/dodgeball-registration-form. Hope to see everyone there on November 11th in support of our Veterans. The cost is $5 per player and $3 for spectators. All proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project of Oregon.

Life Skills class has been very busy.... Homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade egg noodles, Irish stew with Brown bread, carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds with a variety of seasonings. Thank you Pick n' Patch for the pumpkins!!

Our Veterans Day assembly is right around the corner. We will celebrate our veterans on Thursday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the high school gym.
We are working on building a library of photos of our local veterans to share with the public. We would love it if you could provide us with photos of yourself while in service. We would prefer to receive your photos in a digital format, but we can accommodate hardcopy photos as well (we can easily scan your photos, create a digital copy for our library, and return them to you on the same visit). If you need any assistance, please call the school and we can answer any questions you may have. Send your digital photos to ross.hubbard@covesd.org. Bring your hardcopy photos to the front office at the high school.
The Cove FBLA Chapter will be firing up the grill at 6:00 pm tomorrow night for the big football game against the Elgin Huskies. We will be serving cheeseburgers and chips for $5.00, as well as hotdogs, sausage dogs and concessions. Come out and support your local FBLA chapter and your Leopard Football team. Game starts at 7:00 pm.
