Congratulations to Mrs. McGilvray for being named the State of Oregon, FBLA Advisor of the Year.
Congratulations to the Cove Chapter of FBLA for receiving Champion Chapter Gold Designation for the second year in a row at the State Leadership Convention. They also recieved the Super Service Award, and the March of Dimes award for raising the most money in the state of Oregon for this worthwhile cause. We are so excited for Cove FBLA.
Congratulations to the Cove Chapter of FBLA for their amazing individual accomplishments at the State FBLA Leadership Conference. These four people qualified to compete at the National FBLA Conference this summer in Orlando: Esther Elmer -- Job Interview and Client Services; Tanner Rovey -- Agricultural Business; Ally Gettman -- Marketing; and Kendra Mansveld -- Client Services and Job Interview. Gracie Tucker and Tivian Tripple have a chance to go as well by being runner-up in Broadcast Journalism. The four students who qualified automatically did so by placing in the top four at the state convention. Esther and Tanner placed second in their events.
The Cove Chapter of FBLA had a super successful state convention having ten of their fourteen competing members placing in the top ten in their events. These are the members who were state finalists in their events: Sophia Garcia and Mikenzie Spence in Business Management; Tivian Tripple and Gracie Tucker in Broadcast Journalism; Hailey Davis in Journalism; Ally Gettman in Marketing; Mikenzy Spence in Insurance and Risk Management; Tanner Rovey in Agricultural Business; Kendra Manveld in Client Services and in Job Interview; Tivian Tripple in Hospitality and Event Management; Oliva Michaels in Introduction to Business Procedures; and Esther Elmer in Job Interview and in Client Services. Fantastic showing for Cove FBLA. Thank you to everyone who supported Cove FBLA throughout the year.
