Advisory notice: Parent Guardians/Student Drivers, if travelling to/from La Grande...HWY 207 is blizzard like conditions & drifting. Please be aware before traveling to pick up your student(s). Cove SD staff will supervise students as needed until they are able to be safely picked up.
Attention: Due to safety precautions and weather advisory, Cove SD will release ALL students at 1pm today. Buses will begin PM routes at 1PM. All activities today are cancelled. Please contact the school if you need to make travel arrangements for your child. Staff will remain until all students are picked up or travel arrangements have been made as needed.

🚫CANCELED🚫 It was a hard decision but it has been determined to cancel this weekend’s OHSET meet. The cancellation has been made due to the incoming weather and extremely cold temperatures. As much as we are bummed to announce this, the health and safety of our athletes, their equine partners, and their families must come first. Thank you for all of your support and understanding and we will keep up updated on details once we have our meet rescheduled!

Your very own Cove Oregon High School Equestrian Team (OHSET) will be competing LOCALLY this Sunday, February 9th, at Summerville Stables. This is the first (and probably the only) time that we will compete this close to home. The meet will start at 9:00 am and run all day. Admission is free. Please come check out what your local athletes and their equine partners have been working on!
While OHSET has been in Oregon for many years, this is only the second year with our locally based Blue Mountain District supporting multiple local teams. OHSET events range from performance classes and cattle events to gaming and team events. The athletes and their equine partners will be showcasing a wide variety of skills throughout the day.
We look forward to sharing our love of the equestrian world with all of you and hope to see you there!
