The Cove Animal Science class finally got the chance to use our “Barn Kitchen” to process chickens they have raised since the beginning of the school year. We are blessed to be able to work in this facility!
SAVE THE DATE--Donkey basketball is back in Cove on November 22nd at 7:00 pm. For a fun-filled evening with family and friends, join us for donkey basketball in the big gym. This is part of Kelly Winebrenner's senior project and this a fund raiser for the Fisher House Foundation.

Pouring Cement!
MS Boys Basketball--The Cove middle school boys basketball team will be starting their season with a home game at 10:00 am Friday morning against Pine Eagle. Their game that was scheduled for Saturday morning is cancelled due to district volleyball and will be rescheduled soon.
Cove High School is still seeking an assistant girls basketball coach. If you are interested in the position, please contact Candy McGilvray at candy.mcgilvray@covesd.org.
Molly Turner will be in the HS Library at noon on Monday, Oct 21 to help students register for Fall term dual-enrollment.
Stage Manager Needed! Dr. Farrell is looking for a high school student or adult to serve as a stage manager for the upcoming fall play. The commitment begins ASAP and runs through November 17. If interested, please contact her.
Set Pieces Needed for the Fall Play! If you have a small sofa (preferably leather) or a nice wooden office desk that you are willing to loan us for a few weeks, please contact Dr. Farrell.
HAMBURGER FEED--FBLA hamburger and hotdog feed at the Cove High School/Powder Valley football game tomorrow night. The grill will open at 5:15 for anyone who wants to join us for dinner before or during the game. Please come out and support the Cove FBLA chapter.
PINK GAME--Cove High School versus Powder Valley High School in volleyball tomorrow afternoon starting at 4:00 pm. This will be our seniors final home game as well as our PINK GAME. Please wear pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Parent Conferences are fast approaching! Conferences will be held from 4PM to 8PM on Thursday, October 24, and from 8AM to Noon on Friday October 25. Grades 7-12 will be drop-in at the high school gym while grades K-6 is by appointment. Reminder: Thursday, October 17 is a professional development day for elementary teachers. There will be no school for grades K-6 on Thursday. Grades 7-12 will have a regular school day.
Final home game for the Cove Leopards volleyball and football teams this Friday. Volleyball will start at 4:00 pm and football will start at 7:00. Come out and support the teams and honor our seniors in their last home game.
Middle school boys basketball starting at 3:45 tomorrow in the small gym. Their first game will be Friday, October 25th.
