Our Veterans Day assembly is right around the corner. We will celebrate our veterans on Thursday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the high school gym.
We are working on building a library of photos of our local veterans to share with the public. We would love it if you could provide us with photos of yourself while in service. We would prefer to receive your photos in a digital format, but we can accommodate hardcopy photos as well (we can easily scan your photos, create a digital copy for our library, and return them to you on the same visit). If you need any assistance, please call the school and we can answer any questions you may have. Send your digital photos to ross.hubbard@covesd.org. Bring your hardcopy photos to the front office at the high school.
The Cove FBLA Chapter will be firing up the grill at 6:00 pm tomorrow night for the big football game against the Elgin Huskies. We will be serving cheeseburgers and chips for $5.00, as well as hotdogs, sausage dogs and concessions. Come out and support your local FBLA chapter and your Leopard Football team. Game starts at 7:00 pm.
Tomorrow night, the stands will be rocking for our amazing 2022 football team as they take on the Huskies from Elgin for a chance to play in the state playoffs. Kickoff time is at 7:00 pm. Come out and support your Leopard Football Team this Thursday. Wear your blue and gold. This is also senior night, so let your seniors know how much you love them by supporting them this Thursday. LEOPARD PRIDE!!!
Recent vaping activity reported at Cove High School has prompted a closed campus response effective immediately October 26, 2022 until November 1, 2022. During this period of time, 9-12 students will not be allowed to leave campus. Students will not be allowed to go to their vehicles or leave campus during the school day. If your student typically leaves campus for lunch, please have them bring a lunch with them or they can access lunch at the cafeteria. We will further evaluate this action on November 1st.. Our school year is one quarter of the way finished! We ended Quarter 1 on Thursday, October 20th. High School Report Cards were sent out today for all students in grades 9-12. Reminder for 6-8 graders and their parents: There is a Boston Philly Group meeting tonight at 7 pm in the Cove Cafeteria. We will be answering any trip questions and discussing fundraising. The last day to sign up for the trip is Oct. 31.
Taylor Fox & Eli Williams will be attending the EOU homecoming Football game tomorrow and competing in the Mascot Race presented by Re-Max. Taylor will be the Leopard & Eli will be his handler. ( free tix to EOU Football) Good Luck!!
