We are looking for people/businesses/clubs to participate.
What you need to do:
1. Contact Shanda Dunten to get on the list at shanda.dunten@live.com or at 541-910-2933
2. Decorate a vehicle (or?) **Please keep decorations family friendly (not to scary or gruesome.)
3. Provide and hand out candy (individually wrapped and store bought), stickers, etc…


Kindergarten took a field trip to the Catherine Creek Lodge last week, September 23rd. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time searching for living and non-living things in the wilderness. We found all kinds of signs of living things, as well.





COVE HIGH SCHOOL HAMBURGER FEED--There will be a hamburger feed at Friday night's volleyball and football games against Wallowa. We will start the grill around 5:00 pm. If you want a great hamburger with all the fixins, including grilled onions, come out and join us Friday night.


Cove Middle School football and volleyball teams will play in Powder Valley on Thursday at 5:30 pm instead of 5:00.

Volunteers Needed--The high school football and volleyball teams will be in action Friday night against the Wallowa Cougars. Volleyball starts at 4:00 pm and football at 7:00 pm. We need volunteers to help with the games. If you are interested, could you please contact Candy McGilvray at candy.mcgilvray@covesd.org.

Second grade students have been studying habitat diversity in the classroom. They have also been preparing to head into the mountains to work as “field scientists” next week. This afternoon each scientist was given a special book to help guide their field work. Talk about EXCITING! Thank you Cove School District for these special books. ♥️




Third grade gave our new augmented reality program a try today. They had a blast! We get to give it another try next Thursday.

MASKS REQUIRED IN POWDER:
For all those parents and fans traveling to Powder Valley tomorrow afternoon for football and volleyball, please remember to bring your masks. Powder will not admit anyone who does not have a mask, and they will not be providing masks at the door.

We are learning about Living Things with Bess Bug Beetles in kindergarten! We got to hold them for the first time today. So much fun!

Picture Re-takes!
Tuesday, November 2nd will be picture retake day! If you missed picture day or don't like your pictures (bring those with you and get new ones taken) New packets will be handed out when the day gets closer.

Cove High School

The middle school girl's volleyball team will play in Imbler on Thursday night starting at 5:30 instead of 5:00 due to transportation conflicts. Please mark your calendar for 5:30 on Thursday.

The Cove Middle School boys football team will be playing in Enterprise tomorrow morning at 10 am. The team bus will leave at 7:00 am. Please help get the word out.

Thank you to ALL Cove Leopards for coming out tonight and cheering on our middle school volleyball girls! 6-0 is a darn good season so far! Special shout out to our mascot and the middle schoolers who worked hard to learn some cheers today! We’ll see you Friday at 2 for more MS action followed by our HS ladies!!
