At today’s assembly, Cove Jr/Sr High School brought the heat with an epic 3-point contest! After three weeks of friendly competition and elimination rounds starting with 27 competitors from 7th–12th grade and staff, it all came down to the top two sharpshooters battling it out in front of the whole school!
A huge shoutout to every single student and staff member who stepped up to compete — your effort, sportsmanship, and school spirit made this event fun!
In the final round, Mr. Clark received the championship title, with Jonah Jayne finishing an incredibly close second. What a showdown! Congratulations, Mr. Clark and major props to all our amazing participants!
We also celebrated the success of our amazing swim team, our ASB leaders shared exciting updates about upcoming events, and Mr. Clark encouraged students to choose kindness, repeating a staple phrase from our daily announcements, "If you want to have a great day, take time to make someone else's day better, have a great day Cove high school!".
