Cove School District

Outdoor School was fantastic!  While at Camp Hancock, in Fossil, the 6th grade learned alot.  The students took a handful of different classes: Survival, Rocks and Minerals, Reptiles and Amphibians, Team Challenge, Eco-Games.  The classes were augmented by night hikes and climbing mountains.  But now that it is all said and done, we see the most valuable lessons the students took with them after their three-day adventure were about themselves, their friendships and their core values.  Experiences like this are informative and bonding and we appreciate Mr. Gustavson's efforts to facilitate this experience at Camp Hancock with this group of students.
