Cove High School's, Taylor Fox, won the 2019 Cove Cherry Festival Fun Run/Walk. Taylor edged out Coach Vandervlugt and all other competitors, but it was Tommy Hjelmervik, in the Superman tee-shirt, who stole the show, as him and his father, Mark, crossed the finish line in the one mile run. Tommy was the youngest competitor in the event and inspired those who watched. Volunteers from Cove HIgh School’s FBLA chapter, led by President Haiden Wiggins and Vice President, Skyler Perkins, put on this year’s event. As you can see, volunteers of all ages helped pass out water, manned the course, and helped at the finish line. Big thanks to all the participants and volunteers who made this years event a huge success.
