Charter School Information

Cove Charter School strives to provide a superior educational environment that will prepare our children to be highly successful in whatever vocation they choose.  We do this through

·         highly engaged staff that develops strong relationships with their students,

·         outstanding use of technology throughout the curriculum and instruction and

·         innovative solutions.

 

Cove Charter School has class size caps grades K-12 as follows:

Grades 9-12:      26 students

Grades 5-8:         25 students

Grades 1-4:         20 students

Kindergarten:    18 students

 

Cove will begin accepting applications in June, 2009 for the upcoming school year. 

 

According to Oregon charter school law, resident students of Cove School District have first right to attend Cove Charter School.  Students currently attending Cove from out of district will be given next consideration, followed by their siblings.  All remaining available slots will be allotted on August 5 (via lottery if grade-level caps are met) providing that students have not been expelled nor had other significant behavioral issues at previously attended schools. 

All non-resident students must agree to a behavioral contract.
